I'm trying to update the game (the 30.46 mb one) but it's at 0 b/s. I've tried resetting my modem/desktop launcher / computer but nothing has worked.

Windows 10 iso mac download. Now, the download percentage disappeared and now I can press 'play' but it's on the Overwatch screen and stuck on Installing Language Pack. I have no way of checking how far my download is or if it's even continuing to download at all. Blizzard Battle.net is an online gaming platform operated by Blizzard. Where can i download clean music. Having game server connection issues to overwatch. Is anyone else having issues?

I've had this issue since the open beta and the only way I was able to solve it was to completely reinstall the game after every patch.

None. I even tried turning off the firewall completely but still no change. I do have CCleaner and Malwarebytes if that changes anything?

I am having a similar problem. I have norton. I reinstalled the battle.net app. Heroes of the Storm starts right up with the patch while Overwatch is stuck on 0.

There was a patch today, and Norton can sometimes block those.
If you are willing to try, I would temporarily uninstall Norton to see if that makes a difference.
Here's the link where the Norton Removal Tool can be downloaded.
When you click on the link scroll down to Step 2, click on the orange download button and save the download to the desktop. Once saved go ahead and run the program, and follow the on screen steps.

There was a patch today, and Norton can sometimes block those.
If you are willing to try, I would temporarily uninstall Norton to see if that makes a difference.

I have the same issue as OP did (download started fine, but got stuck halfway through) with the client showing 0 kbps and giving the 'we're having a problem transferring data' message.
Tried resetting my modem/router, disabled Microsoft Security Essentials (only security program running), still wouldn't update. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Battle.net desktop app following the instructions on your previous post, and now the Battle.net installer is stuck at 0%.
Any idea on what else I could do?

Having the exact same problem. Update stopped halfway through for new patch. Dead stop at 0 KBS. Not even giving a error message for me. VERY ANNOYING. I have 0 security programs.

Let's log out of the Battle.net Desktop App and try deleting the Battle.net Cache file to see if that helps.

I tried deleting cache folder after ending process, did not work. Still stuck at 0 KBS, halfway through download after reloading.
This time the Battle.net desktop app opened properly (thanks!). Overwatch update is still stuck at the exact same spot of 98.6 MB remaining, downloading at 0 B/s, and popping up the same 'We're having some trouble transferring data. Please wait while we keep trying' message on the yellow icon next to the progress bar.
Ok so, I dont know what happened. I tried a few different things including deleting overwatch cache then reloading desktop app. but at one point it reloaded after i let it sit for awhile at 60.3 MB remaining opposed to where it stopped at 98 before. Then I let it sit again for awhile after that, even though it said 0 kbs the whole time, I finished the update and it plays! may just be a bug with the actual download speed monitor. idk but just let it sit for awhile and it may finish.
Exactly the same thing happened to me, and it's playable now. Bizarre, but thankfully it all worked out. I get the feeling I'll have to revisit these forums the next time we get a big patch though.

For me its the download progressbar that just does not function properly i download with 8MB/s and suddendly its stuck at 0 but a few seconds later the game finished installing and its working ok.
Having the same issue.
I was experiencing the same issue earlier (where the Overwatch update was unable to download). I tried disabling my antivirus, deleting the battle.net cache, and allowing battle.net through firewall, but no dice. I then tried reinstalling the battle.net desktop app, but now I'm unable to install that too.
When I run the setup, it begins to setup and hangs on updating battle.net for a couple of minutes, before the message 'We're having trouble transferring data.' comes up. This happens every time I try to install the desktop app now. I tried everything mentioned above to get the setup to work as well. I am also not on a wireless connection.

1. Overwatch was stuck updating @ 96.19MB, 0 B/s
2. Looked up basic troubleshooting tips, here's what happened
Reinstall Battle.net
Fail to do so, error in data transfer bug as noted above
After cleaning up registry, caches, etc managed to launch Bnet app.
Bnet fired up, but download still stuck @96.19MB, 0 B/s
I think the patch today broke a ton of us. but majority of my friends (i'm the only one of 10+) are unaffected. Please fix soon!
