  • I am missing a driver for a HP 250 G5 notebook (Pentium N3710) - Intel Trusted Execution Engine Interface for Windows 7 32 bit. This device appears as PCI EncryptionDecryption contoller when the driver is missing. On the download page for Windows 10 64 bit there is a driver - 2.0.0.1094 Rev.A(15 Apr 2016), but there is no such driver for Windows 7.
  • View modelOS from both HP and AMD sites still no luck. AMD autodetect utility and Catalyst software installed all other drivers successfully except this one and when completes says all drivers, including chipset, are installed successfully driver I can not locate or get to work is the PCI EncryptionDecryption Controller.

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After a clean install of Windows 10 on this computer, I fully updated everything and all drivers. Except, Windows could not find the appropriate driver for the PCI Encrytpion/Decryption Controller. Windows could not find the driver for it, and I am asking if there is a driver to download for it. The exact quote in Device Manager is '

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

There are no compatible drivers for this device.


To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.'

Is there even a driver for this computer?

It seem this was already installed, so i repaired it and now the device is completely gone from Device Manager and any updates checked through Windows Update or HP Support Assistant gives no necessary device/driver updates/downloads. So I guess this is a good fix. So thank you!
